During these past days the Brazilian nation and many other nations were together at Porto Seguro and there we studied about ‘A Nation that is moved by the gifts of the Spirit’. But what does it mean? We have a main goal, to make each person understand the deepness of a conquest, and to bring a nation to the feet of Yeshua. The gifts of the Spirit are some of the tools that God has given us so that a new robe may rise in the midst of these difficult times, and so that we may have a life that is full of God’s proposals.

A nation that is moved by the gifts refers to the government of God working in areas that have never been seen in the History. A complete control of the Lord in each person´s life and in each person of the Church. Men, women and children, families walking in one direction and speaking one language.

The gifts have a specific objective: make the Spirit of God move on Earth. The gifts are divided for specific operations. There are the ministerial gifts, for example: "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully." (Romans 12:4-8).

There are also the gifts of the Spirit: "Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed", and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines." (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).

"Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. For those who speak in a tongue do not speak to other people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But those who prophesy speak to people for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. Those who speak in a tongue edify themselves, but those who prophesy edify the church." (1 Corinthians 14:1-4).

The gifts qualify the Church, and make the Body of Christ move properly, each one in their function. God would not give gifts to His children which would be usefel and left behind in the middle of barns. The gifts are a spiritualy dynamic, unbreakable values, so men and women can be blessed by the presence of God and help the Body of Christ to have success.

Therefore, there are three gifts that move the Church and are considered permanent: hope, love and faith, which is the highest of them. This becomes a challenge to us, considering that a nation which is moved by faith, hope and love will certainly be visited by the Glory of God and the changes will be visible. It is definite that a nation can move by the spiritual gifts starting with these main ones.

To speak about each gift is an amazing challenge, since each one of them have a strong role in the Body of Christ, creating an explosion of glory and power, helping the growth of the Church. A nation that is moved by the Spirit of God is a divine call for nations that are moved by this same Spirit making visible the actions of His Glory on the Earth. Changes will happen and, as the final result will be the presence of the glory of the Messiah.

The gift of Faith

Who can move a nation? Who can transform a nation? Who can change or restore a nation? Who can rebuild a nation? Faith is a gift that comes from God to make our character grow strong and for our motivation to be solid in each purpose. When we are involved with character and motivated by God´s purpose, He honors us and makes powerful things in our lives.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives us this type of strength. The kingdoms, the thrones, the times were all changed by faith. We see a whole nation being formed by faith, a nation where many men and women are born every day, confessing the Messiah as their Lord, establishing new moments so the people may receive a new heart.

It is by faith that we shall have a new nation. When we came to Porto Seguro in 2000, the nation was a witness, many situations were irreversible. It was like, there were men trying to become gods, thinking they could rule the world. We had a tremendous lack of faith around us, our churches were intimidated, as well. God, through faith, gave us the grace of seeing a new scenario and, with the divine order in operation, a new Brazil is born.

We stood with a language by the faith, believing that the Lord would honor us, and, under this commandment, we went forward. A new Brazil is before us, completely restored in areas that we could never believe possible, by the gift of faith, that defeats all circumstances, that makes us see the invisible, that brings things that do not exist to existence, and manifests the greatness of the Lord’s strong arm.

A nation conceived in faith, kept in faith and will be conserved in faith. The faith was given to us so we could be able to give commands in the spiritual world and bring the promise to the physical world, proving that the righteous lives by faith, and never is drawn backwards. "But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved." (Hebrews 10:38-39). A people that move in faith. Today the anointment of faith is unleashed, to conquer new territories and maintain the ones we already have. It is a nation moving by principles.

There are different kinds and many levels of faith, but they are all controlled by the gift of faith. The faith that a nation receives is what makes the geographies and peoples lives clean. Jude 20 says: "But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit". This holy faith is the tool that the nation needs to build a new character, with visible renounces, and with the proposal of healing the nation, since the faith makes the dead live again, and makes extraordinary things come to life. Today you receive the Gift of Faith to change your world! Do you believe it? Then receive it!
