Sons led by the Father
Estudo para Células - Publicado em: 2008-10-03

“because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” (Romans 8:14).

The Bible teaches that who is a son of God is led by Him. The son is that person who let himself to be led, since he accepts the discipleship, the teachings and the care.

We know that there are differences between sons. One is more easygoing, the other is not; one is more attentive, the other is not, and so on.

Normally, the father tends to get closer to the most easygoing and attentive son, the one who get closer to him. However, this does not represent that he is the most loved son, it only might prove that he is the son who loves and prefers the father’s company the most.

Just as it happens in the family, when some children prefer the company of their parents, it also happens with God. He does not have favorite sons, but has sons that prefer His companionship more then others. Some get closer to him, seeking for more of his company, wanting more from Him. These are the one who pray more, and so, the ones who get more blessings.

Wherever we go, there will always be people that are more associative then others. This kind of person likes to be closer to people. At the cells, for example, we find disciples that seek the leader companionship more then others. People that do not waste a chance of being with their leaders. They prove themselves by their attitudes.

There are also the disciples that only meet their leaders to complain about what they are not agreeing with, that are always unsatisfied.

Then it is clear that there are differences between sons, between disciples. They all claim to be disciples. The point is that their attitudes and their behavior tend to be different drom one another.

How can a son or disciple not allow their father to touch them, not even get close to them?! Some sons have this strange behavior; they not even seem to come from the same family. Some people are strange in the Vision, strange with their leaders. They seem to endeavor to make everything unpleasant and injure the relationship.

But there are also disciples that extremely affective, opened, friends that accept being led by the Word of God and by their spiritual father that God gave them on Earth. They are submissive to the discipleship and are a blessing to the leader. Some are more them disciples, and become friends indeed.
The Bible teaches that every son of God is led by Hid Word. And who are these people? All who was born again, according to John 1:12-13: “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband s will, but born of God.”
Why God wants to lead us?
To guide means orientate, discipulate, give directions. God does not want that their children walk without directions, like sheep without shepherd. Because of that he teaches us, through the Bible, that we become submissive like sons before His guidance.
When a son, a disciple, let himself be guided, he becomes more successful then the ones walking with no direction. It is obvious! People that let themselves to be discipulated learn to use the Kingdom’s language better and present better answers into the communication and interaction within the Body of Christ.

Let the Lord guide you. He wants to give directions to your life. And there is nothing better then being under the discipleship to receive the right instructions from God. Do not isolate yourself because you have gotten hurt by wrong relationships. God wants to guide you through all of your ways so that you know how to get closer to Him, to the discipulator and to your brothers.
Yet in this year, let the Holy Ghost to teach your heart and receive the correction in your relationships, the freedom from your traumas and the healing for your wounds. Let yourself to be discipulated.

Remember that the Bible teaches that the sons are the ones that are guided. And one must obey the Word to be approved by God. This is the only way.

Understanding who are the sons

Who is a son? We know that according to John 1:12, the true ones are the ones who were born from God’s will.

A son of God must learn how to relate with Him even more every day. How can you have relationship with God if you can not even greet your brothers in the church?
The friendships of a son, or disciple, can express the level of relationship that he has with God. Unfortunately, what we see many times is that people that are brothers in Christ does not even greet each others.

Why does it take so much for people to be polite and greet each other? Because they does not let themselves be guided by God. God is love. He loves unconditionally. You must love just like the Bible tells you to.

The sons have the right of love, but they also have the commitment of loving God and the ones next to them. Some people think they can not show love to the ones they do not know, but the Bible teaches that we can love them in Jesus Christ.

Know and believe that God is looking at you. You are a beloved Son. In 2 Samuel God tells David that he has been taken out of the place of shame and putted him at high places. All of that because David was a man who let himself be guided by God.

God makes pleasant the life of everyone who are guided by Him.

God have already taken you out from the shame. You surely remember how you life was and what the Lord have already done for you. And He is still doing it, every day, making your feet firm in the Rock, amplifying your conquers and territories.

You must be a son that pleases the Father’s heart, and our discipulator’s too. Decide to be the best son you can be.
